Titus revamps its brand

Lebanon — A new twist on a Lebanon staple is turning heads and bringing in business to Titus Bakery.

The new mural on the east side of the building was completed Wednesday by Blice Edwards of Indianapolis. It features some of Titus’ famous treats, including the popular Persings right in the center.

The whole building — and business — has been going through a remodel since Terry Rake purchased the bakery from her father, Bill Titus, at the beginning of the year. He wanted to retire, but Rake wanted to keep the business in the family.

“This is the third generation” for the bakery, Rake said. “And it’s a family recipe that we’ve had for years, and I wanted to keep the quality the same.”
