School year gets off to smooth start for all six Lebanon schools

All six Lebanon principals reported an “exceptionally smooth” start to school this month, said Lebanon Superintendent Dr. Robert Taylor at Tuesday’s school board meeting. The start of school at Lebanon High School went extremely well given that every student was coming to school with a new Macbook laptop for the first time, Taylor said, as the school’s 1:1 technology initiative took off. “It was quite a sight,” he said. “There’s a portrait from Norman Rockwell of kids coming to school. I can’t imagine what the portrait would look like today as Lebanon students came in, starting a whole new digital experience.” For more of the story, see Thursday's Lebanon Reporter.
