Electrochemical site disposal could wipe out $200,000-plus tax bill

---- — More than $200,000 in past-due property taxes that are unlikely to ever be paid, would be wiped off Boone County’s ledger if a farm implement dealership wins approval of an expansion plan. Reynolds Farm Equipment, 1501 Indianapolis Avenue, Lebanon, wants to buy the long-shuttered Electrochemical Coatings, Inc., production building, immediately north of the implement dealership, raze the building, and use the site for equipment display.
