Tornado damage estimate for Lebanon due today

Lebanon — Inspectors from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security toured Boone County Tuesday, assessing damage from two confirmed tornadoes. An EF-2 tornado, with maximum winds of 115 mph, Sunday destroyed a Starbucks restaurant, damaged or destroyed 26 homes, and caused extensive damage to three companies in the Lebanon Business Park. Multiple eyewitnesses saw the tornado, although only the National Weather Service can verify that damage was caused by a twister that touched down at 3:52 p.m. For more of the story, see Wednesday's Lebanon Reporter.
