Local woman wins 1956 Chevy in statewide raffle

Mary Jackson, of Lebanon, was the fortunate winner of a 1956 red Chevy wagon, raffled off by the Arc of Indiana. Any Arc chapter in the state was invited to sell raffle tickets for this prize, said Marcia Clutter of the Arc of Greater Boone County. The local Arc sold tickets and also displayed the car during the Back to the Fifties Festival in September. The car, valued at $14,000, made its way across Indiana this year, in celebration of 1956, the year the Arc of Indiana was formed. For more of the story, see Friday's Lebanon Reporter.
