---- — Daniel Lollar, 39, 900 block of Prairie Drive, Lebanon, was to be arraigned today on multiple counts of child molesting.

“It is an ongoing investigation,” Lebanon Police Department Det.-Sgt. Tony Bayles said Thursday. Circuit Court Judge Jeffrey Edens authorized Lollar’s arrest after a probable cause hearing Tuesday; Lollar was arrested later that day.

Lollar is charged with molesting a child under the age of 14 nine times between August 2011 and August 2012. Two of the charges are class A felonies, which carry a sentence of 20 to 50 years in prison. The other seven charges are class C felonies, for which the sentence is two to eight years.

Bayles said the case began as an investigation by Hamilton and Marion County authorities into possible child exploitation.

Lollar is in the Boone County Jail; his bond is $50,000 cash or surety.
