Child porn investigation led to local man's arrest

Lebanon — Investigation into child porn on the Internet led local police to arrest a Lebanon man on multiple child molestation charges.

Daniel Lollar, 39, 900 block of Prairie Drive, was arrested July 30.

His bond was set at $100,000 cash on Friday, after the Boone County Prosecutor’s Office asked Circuit Court Judge Jeffrey Edens for a higher-than-standard bond. Lollar was originally held on no bond.

Lollar was charged with nine counts of child molestation. Two of them are class A felonies, which carry a sentence of 20 to 50 years in prison. The other seven are class C felonies, with a sentence of two to eight years.
