Parks department adjusts to prepare for new pool cost

Lebanon — The Lebanon Parks Department is now the Lebanon Department of Parks after the Lebanon City Council approved a request Monday to change the set-up of the department.

The new department is created within the city government, and the old department ceases to exist, according to the ordinance.

The possibility was first brought up by Lebanon Mayor Huck Lewis at the Aug. 27 council meeting. He said the switch would be in preparation for a possible new city pool.
