Lebanon fire leaves man in critical condition

Lebanon — Shawn Lambert, 45, Lebanon, is in critical condition at Wishard Hospital with burns and respiratory injuries he suffered in a 1 a.m. Wednesday house fire at 519 E. Noble St., Lebanon.

Fire Chief Jason Lee said the fire was set either by Lambert or his wife, Dorothy, 58, after a domestic dispute. Investigators from Lebanon Fire; the Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office and the Boone County Sheriff’s Office were at the small, one-story wood frame home Wednesday morning seeking the source and cause of the fire.
