Unresolved? There’s help

Boone County — It’s the second day of 2013; how’s that New Year’s resolution going?

Getting more exercise was one of the six most popular New Year’s resolutions of 2012, according to the website livescience.org. Using information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and other sources, reporter Ross Toro created the list, which is likely to remain the same this year.

According to the federal government, the same general resolutions appear every year.

Toro’s research found that in 2011, one-third of Americans said they wanted to improve their fitness and lose weight. Those are also, according to Time magazine, two of the top 10 most frequently broken resolutions.
