Lebanon PD to fund BCSO firing range upgrade

Lebanon Police will pay for improvements to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office firing range so it can accommodate the department’s firearms training.

The range, at the Boone County Jail, 1905 Indianapolis Avenue, “is becoming a busy place,” Sheriff Ken Campbell told the Boone County Drainage Board recently, when plans for the expansion were presented.

Several drainage tiles will be affected, requiring the drainage board’s review; the panel gave the project unanimous approval.
