Students gather to oppose e-cigarettes

Western Boone junior Erin Biddle, sophomore Emma Klingensmith and freshman Gracie Dickerson were speakers at the event that was sponsored by Drug Free Boone County and Tobacco Free Boone County.

Using slides, they showed the types of devices being used by tobacco companies to attract younger smokers. Those include products that resemble breath freshener tablets and flavored toothpicks.
