Big projects nearing completion at LHS

Lebanon — The Lebanon High School auditorium does not exist any longer, Lebanon schools’ Director of Resource and Operation Bob Ross told the school board Tuesday.

“It’s empty, a hollow shell,” he said at Tuesday’s board meeting. “The last of the seats were taken out today.”

The auditorium is just one of many very visual projects going on at LHS right now as the total renovation project is getting close to completion. The new band room is close to being finished, Ross said, and the music education technology center is scheduled to have equipment installed on May 31. Nearly 75 percent of the walls are up in the new and expanded cafeteria.
