Whitestown — A Whitestown resident is facing several counts of federal child pornography charges, according to a release from U.S. Attorney Joe Hogsett.

Daniel Alan Jines is facing 15 counts of producing child pornography, one count of receiving child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography. Hogsett’s office announced the charges Wednesday.

Tim Horty, spokesman for the attorney’s office, said work by the Hamilton County Child Exploitation Task Force led to the charges. The task force is made up of representatives from Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Indiana State Police and Homeland Security Investigations Division.
