Although it improved slightly from February, unemployment in Lebanon remained marginally higher than Indiana’s rate in March; Zionsville’s jobless rate inched upward, and Boone County’s overall rate was essentially unchanged at 7.7 percent.
More than 7,700 Lebanon residents were working, in a labor force of 8,481, in March, for a jobless rate of 9.2 percent, the Indiana Department of Workforce Development said. In February, 9.6 percent of Lebanon’s potential workers were unemployed.
