City debriefs after winter storm

Lebanon city department heads' reports all had one thing in common at Monday’s Board of Works meeting — updates on the winter storm response last week.

Lebanon Fire Chief Jason Lee said many of his firefighters, like him, did not see their homes for three to four days straight. One man was away from home for so long that he didn’t even know his pipes had frozen and burst, flooding his basement, until a couple of days after the fact. But he still didn’t complain, Lee said.
