LCSC cash balances lower, but healthy

The 2014 budget for Lebanon Community School Corp. was presented at Tuesday’s board of trustees meeting, reflecting a nearly 3.4 percent increase in properties within the corporation’s limits.

Charles Tait, LCSC business manager and assistant superintendent, presented the budget to the board Tuesday. The approved 2014 budget for the corporation is just more than $39.7 million with a $12 million levy. The budget is a 1.5 percent increase over 2013, and the levy a 10.2 percent increase.
