Toy drive in 35th year

Donations are being taken now for the 35th annual Boone County Toy Drive.

“Without Boone County’s support and generosity, the toy drive would not be a success,” Toy Drive Chairwoman Myrtle Bailey said Tuesday at the event’s traditional kickoff at her Lebanon home. “It’s amazing how we all pull together in times of need.”

Donations of toys and clothing are being collected for children up to age 12, Bailey said. Food and financial contributions are also sought.
