City considers dredging Hot Pond

Lebanon — Lebanon’s Hot Pond has seen a lot of troubles recently, including an algae issue that led to the installation of a new fountain to keep the water moving.

But the problems may soon be resolved after the Lebanon City Council heard a presentation by Heartland Dredging at Monday’s meeting.

Ed Roe, of Heartland, spoke to the council, identifying problems at Hot Pond and recommending some solutions.
