Some LCSC employees to receive raises

Lebanon — Some employees of the Lebanon Community School Corporation will receive a pay raise in 2013 for the second consecutive year.

Raises this year on average range from $.50 to $.75 an hour, said Charles Tait, assistant superintendent and business manager. All certified and classified staff will receive a pay increase.

All classified staff received a $.50 per hour raise this year as compared to 2011. Last November, Tait said the starting wages for classified staff were not very competitive with other businesses in the area.

And LCSC is financially stable enough to provide the moderate increase for next year, Tait said.
