Meijer files Anson plans with state

Anson — A Meijer store may finally be coming to the Anson development nearly six years after receiving development plan approval.

Deb Luzier, Whitestown planning director, said Wednesday that the retailer has filed a building plan with the state building commission for approval.

“They must review all new commercial and industrial building,” she said. “It’s a standard procedure. Once that gets approved at the state level, our office will issue the building permits.”
