Boone County — Three Boone County law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty will be among those honored Wednesday during local observance of National Peace Officer’s Memorial Day.

The program is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday on the north steps of the Boone County Courthouse in downtown Lebanon. In the event of bad weather, the program will be held in the courthouse rotunda.

A color guard from the Zionsville Police Department will open the program. Boone County Sheriff Ken Campbell will lead the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by an invocation from Pastor Mike Goforth.
