Boone County Rodeo Bash takes place this weekend

Boone County — Five Boone County students will participate this weekend in the fifth annual Boone County Rodeo Bash, a partnership between the Indiana High School Rodeo Association and the Arc of Greater Boone County.

The rodeo draws around 3,000 attendees and around 100 participants from around the state. Locally, Cord and Strand Barricklow of Lebanon High School, Katie George and Brayton Dewees of Western Boone Jr.-Sr. High School, and Elizabeth McClain, home-schooled, will go up against other students in events like goat tying, barrel racing, roping, steer wrestling and bull riding.
