H.E.R.S. for HER begins prenatal care program

Boone County — With its H.E.R.S. for HER program gaining momentum and membership, the Boone County Community Clinic, 404 W. Camp St., Lebanon, has announced it is launching a pilot pre-natal care program.

Nearly 200 women have started the Health Education, Resources and Services program, while 289 had registered as of last Wednesday, said Donald Garrett, the clinic’s grant and development manager.

“We’re doing well,” Garrett said, and community benefactors are a big factor in that progress.
