---- — The impressive start for the sixth-ranked Zionsville girls golf team continued Wednesday afternoon at the 30th Annual Kokomo Invite. For the first time in school history, the Eagles won the tournament, shooting a team-score of 318. The Eagles have now won all three tournaments they have participated in this season. "I am really proud of the girls today," Zionsville head coach Jeff Anderson said. "I could tell even before they got on the course that they were tired so I didn't know what to expect from them. I told them to just plug away and do the best they could. I like that they are at the point now where if they don't play their best they are upset about it and not just accepting it. They are looking to take that next step to do what it takes to get better." Zionsville won the tournament by 40 shots over second place Twin Lakes.
