---- — One of the best quarterbacks to come through Lebanon High School has made his college choice.
Senior Isaac Harker signed a letter of intent to play football at Indiana State University. The school held a signing ceremony on Thursday.
"It is definitely a big relief," Harker said of being able to officially sign. "It is nice to see all the hard work I put in come to fruition."
Harker said he also considered Southeast Missouri (on scholarship) and Indiana (as a preferred walk-on) before settling on the Sycamores.
"I really liked the coaching staff and they made me feel valued and at home," Harker said of Indiana State. "I really liked the campus and I think the team is on the up and up and I want to be a part of that."
Another positive was the proximity of the Terre Haute campus to Lebanon.
"It is really nice that is close because you know that it is just a quick trip home to see all your friends and family," Harker said. "I still want to be part of the Lebanon community too."
