---- — Lebanon senior Cody Bauer admitted that his recruiting process was "hectic" at times.

Now the chaos is over. Bauer, a two-sport standout for the Tigers, signed to play football at Marian University in Indianapolis.

“It feels pretty good; it is definitely a relief,” Bauer said. “Going through the process, it was kind of hectic at times and it got kind of crazy there for a bit. But is definitely a relief where I can sit back and kind of relax now. Marian is a great school and it is a perfect fit for me.”

Bauer, who said that Hanover and Wabash were also in his top three, said that the 2012 NAIA National Champions stood out for a few reasons.

“It is a close to home and the atmosphere there is great,” Bauer said. “Some of the other schools didn’t have the home aspect of it as much as they did it. It is somewhere I can go and still know people there like (Lebanon graduate) Dillon (Dittemore) and it is really nice.”

Bauer said that the coaching staff at Marian also stood out.
