Lebanon quarterback Isaac Harker and Western Boone defensive lineman Conrad Mitchell were invited to the 2013 U. S. Army National Combine in San Antonio, Texas.
The combine runs from Jan. 3 through Jan. 5. and features 500 of the nation’s top sophomore and junior football players.
Harker was a second-team all-Sagamore Conference selection this season, throwing for 1,948 yard and 19 touchdowns.
He added 231 yards on the ground.
Harker had his best game of the season in the season finale against No. 1 and eventual state champion Cathedral, completing 16 of 32 passes for a career-best 394 yards and three touchdowns.
In his two seasons under center for the Tigers, Harker has thrown for more than 3,200 yards and 31 touchdowns, leading Lebanon to its first two sectional victories since 2007.
This summer Harker was named U100 QB MVP for Midwest Class of 2014, Top Prospect Elite Top Ten by position QB (ranked 6th) Class of 2014, member of the Top Prospect Elite 7 on 7 Championship team in Oklahoma, and earned a Top Gun Invite.
Mitchell was a first-team all-Sagamore Conference selection this year, helping the Stars to a 9-2 record and the Sagamore Conference title.
He was second on the Stars with 86 total tackles (54 solo). He also led the team and was among the state leaders with nine sacks.
Mitchell led the Stars with 26 tackles for a loss.
