Lebanon — Devin Isenhower took home the victory at the American Drag Racing League Summer Drags at US 131 Motorsports Park located in Martin, Mich. on July 14.
Isenhower, Lebanon High School sophomore and honors student, was part of a pre-selected field of 20 Pro Junior Dragsters that showed up for event No. 6 in the 10 race ADRL series.
The event bested 3 qualifying 7.90 index runs and resulting in a 16 car field.
Lebanon High School Senior and brother, Nick Isenhower, qualified No. 2 out of 16 cars with his 7.901 e.t. Devin qualified No. 12.
This qualifying order was great for the Isenhower team.
The only way the Isenhower brothers would race each other would be if they both made it to the final round. Unfortunately, Nick Isenhower had a foul start ( red light) eliminating him in round one.
After four rounds of racing, Devin’s stellar reaction times and superior finish line driving took him to victory lane. Devin had an .020 reaction time in the finals to Michigan native, Lane Ledfords .030 reaction time. Both Ledford and Isenhower broke out by running under the index of 7.90.
