Flanary Open concludes during the weekend

Lebanon — The Bob Flanary Open Tennis Tournament concluded Sunday after four days of local tennis.

Seven of the 16 events were won by Lebanon residents, with some events featuring two local participants in the final.

The following were the results:

Men’s A SIngles: Eric Pottest, Indianapolis defeated David Smith, Indianapolis 6-3, 6-2.

Men’s B Singles: Leonardo Hernandez, Lebanon defeated Alden Woods, Lebanon 6-4, 6-1.

Women’s B Singles: Jaclyn Hyman, Galveston won over BreAnna Sawyer, Avon 6-1, 6-0.

Boys’ 18 Singles: Sam Godby, Lebanon beat Ragharum Srinivasan, Lebanon 6-3, 6-4. Justin Woodard, Lebanon won the consolation final over Mason Townsley, Frankfort, 2-6, 6-1, 10-5.

Boys’ 16 Singles: Justin Woodard, Lebanon won over Tyler Boggess, Lebanon 7-6 (8-6), 6-2. In the consolation finals Chris King of Crawfordsville defeated Noah Davidson, Lebanon, 6-1, 6-1.

Boys’ 14 Singles: Sam Jackman from Darlington beat Luke Copper of Attica 7-5, 6-1. The consolation finals pitted two up and coming Lebanon boys, with Michael Wright defeating Cody Hollingsworth 6-1, 6-0.

Girls’ 18 SIngles: Sasha Sokolchik, West Lafayette defeated Megan Warren, Fishers 6-0, 6-3

Girls’ 16 Singles: Kaidlyne Neukam, Crawfordsville won over Staci Cline of Lebanon 6-4, 6-2.

Girls 14 Singles: Kate Stanley of Lebanon, beat Mary Jackman of Darlington, 6-2, 7-5. And Kourtney Neukum, Crawfordsville, defeated Megan Lucas of Lebanon 6-3, 6-3 in the consolation finals.

Men’s A Doubles: Brad Mustin, Indianapolis and LHS Tennis Coach with Mitchell Trammell of Brownsburg won the division beating Conner Hunt, Fairmont and Dave Smith of Indianapolis 6-3, 6-4.

Men’s B Doubles Round Robin: Dave and Nick Wright of Lebanon defeated Doug Curts, Lebanon and Chris Foster, Indianapolis 6-4, 6-1. The event was won by Lebanon residents Alden Woods and Mitchell Starkey 2-0.

Men’s 45 Doubles Round Robin: Darin Anderson and Carl Schten of Kokomo defeated Roy Flanary and Steve Wilson of Lebanon to take the event 2-0.

Boys 18 Doubles: An all Lebanon final resulted in Ragharum Srinivsan and Zach Rice beating Jacob Copeland and Nick Wright 6-4, 6-3. The consolation finals were won by Malachi Vann and Grayson Heinbaugh of Lebanon over Zach Carroll and Anthony Tran of Kokomo, 6-0, 6-0.
