Stars 3-peat as sectional champs

Dover — Dover - The Western Boone volleyball team won its third-straight sectional title in volleyball Saturday night.

The Stars defeated Crawfordsville 3-0 (25-5, 25-14, 25-16) to advance to the regional.

"It feels awesome," Western Boone head coach Laura Lawson said. "Especially doing all three of them with this senior class because they are the ones that really deserve it."

Emily Harrison led the way with 17 kills and seven digs.

Casi Neff and Lauren Marsh each had 10 digs in the match, while Lydia Climer had 44 assists.
