---- — It was a special night at Cool Lake Golf Course Thursday evening for the Lebanon girls golf team. The Tigers honored senior Abby Messenger on senior night in a triangular match with West Lafayette and Danville. West Lafayette won the meet with a 169, with Lebanon placing second with a 176. Danville shot a 233. "We had a couple of girls have good nights and a couple didn't have their best," Lebanon head coach Mick Milakovic said. "West Lafayette had their best round of the year. We tell the girls that sometimes you have your best round and you don't win. Our best nine-hole score is 175, and we were one off that. We didn't have a bad round, but West Lafayette had their best round." Allison Goodwin was the meet medalist with a 36. Messenger shot a 45, Sydney Bolyard had a 47, Katlyn Coddington had a 48, Lexie Ping had a 50 and Hailey Smith had 54. For more of this story, read Friday's Lebanon Reporter.
