Indians game with Columbus suspended in 14th inning tied at 4

(Continued)

The game remained a one-run affair until the Tribe sparked its late-inning fireworks, which were then temporarily extinguished as heavy rain forced the suspension of Wednesday’s contest.

The Indians will now head to Louisville Slugger Field for a pair of contests which will mark the end of the Tribe’s eight-game road swing. Indianapolis is expected to give the ball to left-handed ace Kris Johnson (8-4, 2.86), while the Bats are scheduled to send Daniel Corcino (4-11, 6.72) to the mound for Thursday’s 7:05 p.m. game.
