With the sectional in less than two weeks, Lebanon head coach Beth DeVinney looks for her team to get better every game and she saw that in a 59-37 victory over North Montgomery on Friday night.
“There was definitely improvement in our effort overall,” said Beth DeVinney. “Our kids had some energy and legs tonight. We’ve been approving on our endurance. I think our conditioning level is almost where it needs to be. We’re not quite there yet, but I feel like we are definitely headed in the right direction.”
Lebanon (12-4, 5-1 SAC) scored the first seven points of the game but North Montgomery (1-15, 0-6 SAC) didn’t let the Lady Tigers run away with it as the Lady Chargers trailed by four points, 15-11, after the first quarter.
Lebanon continued to add to the lead, extending it after each quarter.
