---- — One of the big goals for the Lebanon boys soccer team every season is to win their own invitational. After Saturday, the Tigers can check that goal off the list. Lebanon defeated Kokomo 1-0 in the semifinals before topping Lafayette Central Catholic 5-0 in the final to win the invite. "The guys played very well this weekend," Lebanon head coach Ryan Tucker said. "Some of the things we have been working on in training have really helped us. Both of our opponents came out and were competitive in the first half and I think overall, because we were moving the ball well, they got tired because they were chasing us." The Tigers got a first-half goal from Nathan Kincaid against Kokomo on an assist form Jake Bashor. That tally held up as Jonas Gustavson had 13 saves to pitch the shutout. With only two hours between the semifinals and final, Tucker said he wasn't worried about being sluggish in the second game because of all the work the Tigers put in during the off-season.
