Tiger seniors shine in senior day romp

Through the first half Thursday night, it looked like the Lebanon boys soccer team's senior night game against Southmont was going to be a nailbiter. The second half was a different story. Lebanon scored six second-half goals in a 7-1 blasting of Southmont. "It was fun," Lebanon head coach Ryan Tucker said. "The first half, I'm not sure if we were dealing with emotions or if we thought we were just going to walk through this game, but the first half wasn't as nice as I would have liked it. But, the guys regrouped at halftime and I think they impressed the crowd tonight. I was glad to see it." The two teams were tied at 1 at the half, with the Tigers lone goal coming from Benji Hudson. Lebanon had the majority of chances in the first half, but hit the post multiple times and got robbed a couple of times by great saves from Southmont's Colin Kaurich.
