Mrs. Hutoka Merrill, 84, of Lebanon, died Thursday, May 3, 2008, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born Jan. 20, 1924, in Lebanon, to the late Fred and Ruby (Fosnight) Daily.
She married Charles “Bud” Merrill on Jan. 7, 1941, in Lafayette. Mr. Merrill died Aug. 10, 1998.
Mrs. Merrill was an Avon Lady for many years and was a member of the Otterbein Womens Club. She also was a member of Trinity Chapel in Thorntown.
She loved children and was devoted to her family, which was her life.
Survivors include four sons, Samuel Merrill of Whitestown, Ramon Merrill of Pittsboro, Tim Merrill of Noblesville, and Todd Merrill of Irving, Texas; one daughter, Ramona Merrill Richman of California; nine grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Larry, one brother and one sister.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home, 223 N. Meridian St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, the Rev. Charles Brinson officiating. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
