Annora M. “Ann” Richardson

Ms. Annora M. “Ann” Richardson, 80, Indianapolis, died Thursday, May 15, 2008, at Clarian West Medical Center, Avon.

Ms. Richardson was born in Lebanon on Feb. 13, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Noble Earl and Mary Elizabeth (Harvey) Harlos.

She was married to Loel Clover Richardson, in Lebanon, on Oct. 20, 1946. They divorced in 1966.

A longtime resident of Lebanon, Ms. Richardson was a 1946 graduate of Lebanon High School. In 1962 she graduated Huffman’s Beauty College, in Lafayette. She owned and operated the Magic Mirror Beauty Salon in Crawfordsville from 1965 to 1973. She then worked for Indianapolis Office Supply as a Sales Representative, in Indianapolis, Crawfordsville and Greencastle. She worked for the Indiana Department of Revenue as a Tax Examiner until retiring in 1980, due to her health.

She attended Centenary United Methodist Church in Lebanon and was a member of the Red Hat Society in Indianapolis.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed her family and their activities. She like bowling, sports, playing cards, and watching television.

Visitation will be held at Myers Mortuary from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Funeral services are to be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 N. Lebanon St., in Lebanon, with the Rev. David Patrick officiating.

Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.

Survivors include one son, Mr. John David Richardson and wife, Linda, Avon; one daughter, Mrs. Janet Sue Sarver and husband, Daniel, New Braunsfels, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Marilyn Jane Richman, Lebanon, and three grandchildren, Joseph W. Richardson, Indianapolis, Linda Lee Sarver, Waipahu, Hawaii, and Kenneth Allen Sarver, Pensacola, Fla.

A brother, Phillip Edward Harlos, is deceased.

Memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics of Indiana. Online condolences may be made at myersmortuary.com.
