Alma Beatrice “Bea” Allen

Alma Beatrice “Bea” Allen, 83, a resident of Clinton House and formerly longtime resident of Rossville Avenue, both in Frankfort, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2008, at the Clinton House.

She was born Dec. 22, 1924, in Frankfort to Clyde and Edith (Vinard) Spear. She married Arthur P. Allen Sr. and they divorced prior to his death. She worked many years at the Frankfort Elks Lodge. Surviving is a son, Arthur P. Allen Jr. of Fontana, Calif.; two daughters, Sandra Johnson of Tampa, Fla., and Marilyn Suhre (Roger) of Forest; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a brother, Max L. Spear (Ruth) of Lebanon, and a sister, Inez Haynes of Phoenix, Ariz.

Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort. Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Archer-Weston Funeral Home in Frankfort. Memorials appreciated to the American Lung Association. Online condolences may be left at www.archerweston.com.
