J.B. McKinney, 65, of Crawfordsville, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, at his home.
He was born Sept. 8, 1942, in Quail, Ky., son of the late Robert J. McKinney and Myrtle Taylor McKinney.
He worked in shipping at R.R. Donnelley’s for 38 years.
Surviving are daughters, Brenda Mills, Christina Bischof and Nicole McKinney; sons, Donald McKinney, Rick McKinney, Jeff McKinney, Aaron McKinney, J.B. McKinney, Jr., and Robert McKinney; sisters, Norma Martin of Michigan, Juanita Edwards, Ruby Woodall and Susie (Bert) Hale, all of Jamestown, and Bonnie Patterson of Kentucky; brothers, Raymond McKinney of Pittsboro, Olney McKinney of Jamestown; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brothers Sherman McKinney and Truman McKinney and sister Stella Smith.
Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at Porter Funeral Home, 6 S. California St., Jamestown.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Porter with Mark McKinney officiating. Interment will follow in the Jamestown I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Jamestown, Indiana.
There will be a dinner immediately after the service at the Church of God of Prophecy., East Elm Street, Jamestown.
