Lee Thomas Schultheiss

Lee Thomas Schultheiss, 32, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2008, at Witham Hospital in Lebanon.

Lee was born May 10, 1976, in Kalamazoo, Mich., to Rick and Vicki (Sharp) Schultheiss of Memphis (Ind.). He graduated high school in Arkansas and worked 11 years for different Wal-Mart stores, most recently in Monticello.

He was an avid open wheel racing fan, baptized in the Lutheran Church, and will be remembered as a “people person.”

Survivors include his parents; paternal grandparents, Robert LeRoy and MariAnna Schultheiss of Rock Hill, S.C.; children, Xavier Thomas and Westin Schultheiss, Camden; a sister, Lynn Schultheiss of Lebanon, and a his niece, Caitlyn Schultheiss of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Howard A. and Helen L. Sharp.

Friends and family will gather from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, with the funeral service at 6 p.m. at Drury and Leppert Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon.
