Karen Sue Phillippo

Karen Sue Phillippo, 59, a resident of Atlantic Beach, Fla., passed away Friday, Nov. 20, 2009.

She was born Jan. 13, 1950, in Lebanon.

She was employed by DP Associates as a librarian for 25 years at the Learning Center Library at the Mayport Naval Station.

Survivors include her son, Chris Phillippo, of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughter, Tara (James) Floyd, of Atlantic Beach; and grandsons, Chris Phillipo Jr., of Jacksonville, and Bo Philpot and Brandon Floyd, both of Atlantic Beach.

She was preceded in death by her husband Terry Phillippo.

Private family services were held.
