Billy Lee Stewart

— Billy Lee Stewart, 64, of Indianapolis, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at St. Vincent Hospital.

Billy was born Jan. 30, 1948, in Indianapolis, son of the now late Lawrence and Clara Nunn Stewart Littell.

He married Amy Louden on July 4, 1998. She survives.

Billy was a member of American Legion in Danville and Teamsters Local 135.

Surviving are daughters, Lori (Shane Childress) Hieston of Jamestown and Rebecca Veach of Lebanon; former wife, Penny Stewart; sisters, Doris L. Blackstone of Kirklin and Rosemarie (Roger) Bradley of Pine Knott, Ky.; brother, David Thomas Stewart of Lafayette; grandchildren, Bradley Burdine, Afton Hieston, Mercedes Veach, Gage Veach and Trevor Smith; great-grandchild, Jerzie Raylynn Faulk; and seven nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Calvin Ray Stewart and Bobbie Stewart; nephew, Michael Ray Stewart; and niece, Laurie Stewart.

Friends and family will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at the Porter Funeral Home, 315 W. Main St., Jamestown. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at the Jamestown IOOF Cemetery, Jamestown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a local humane society of the donor’s choice.
