LaVonna V. "Vonnie" Perry

Mrs. LaVonna Vee Perry, 74, of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at her home in Lebanon.

Mrs. Perry was born Dec. 13, 1939, in Zionsville, a daughter of the now late Oscar Seymour and Ruby Pearl (West) Fisher. She was raised and educated in Zionsville, where she graduated from high school in 1958. She then attended the Business School in Indianapolis.

On Dec. 24, 1960, she married Carl Wayne Perry in Lebanon. Mr. Perry passed away on Oct. 26, 2001.

Mrs. Perry worked at the Lebanon School Corporation for 19 years as a custodian at Central Elementary. She lived Arizona for several years, but most of her life was spent in Boone County.

She was dedicated to her family. In her free time she enjoyed fishing, shopping, gardening and going to the casino.

Mrs. Perry was a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Jamestown.

Survivors include two sons, Rod W. (Laura) Perry and Carl Eugene “Gene” (companion, Lucy Wethington) Perry, all of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Maxx (fiancée, Courtney Butler), Andrew Perry, Jakob Scott Perry, Morgan Michele Perry and Blake Alan Perry; and three great-grandchildren, Addison Perry, Savanna Perry and Dawston Perry.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Brian Alan Perry; three sisters, Erma Stewart, Norma Wagoner and Donna Fisher; and two brothers, John Fisher and Wallace Fisher.

Visitation is noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, at Myers Chapel of Memories.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Boone County Cancer Society, 117 W. Elm St., Lebanon, IN 46052.
