Betty L. Wethington

Mrs. Betty Louise Wethington, 85, of Lebanon, passed away Dec. 23, 2013, at Witham Health Services. Betty was born March 24, 1928, in Lebanon, a daughter of the now late Paul W. and Ruth (Isenbarger) Bowman. She was married to Charles “Pinky” Wethington on Feb. 6, 1948. He died in 1998.

Betty was an avid doll collector.

Survivors include her children: Mike (Barb) Wethington of Hamilton, Ohio, and Gary (Cathy) Wethington and Susan (Ed) Endres, both of Lebanon; grandchildren: Michelle (Jason) Grant, Heather (Greg) Tankersley, Matt Demaree, Steven (Tami) Endres and Kyle Endres; great-grandchildren: Izzy Grant, Alex Grant, Ana Grant and Jackson Wethington and a sister-in-law, Tiny Bowman. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Harold and Carroll “Buster” Bowman.

The family will gather at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, for graveside services at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lebanon Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon, is in charge of arrangements. Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 6100 W. 96th St., Suite 200, Indianapolis, IN 46278.
