Mrs. Shirley A. Boram, 75 of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 05, 2014, at her residence.
Shirley was born Nov. 1, 1938, in Indianapolis, a daughter of the now late Robert Howard and Annabelle (Doyle) Helms. She was raised in Lebanon and attended Lebanon High School.
On April 15, 1961, she was married to Ernest L. “Butch” Boram in Lebanon. Mr. Boram survives.
Dedicated to her loved ones, Shirley enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest L. “Butch” Boram of Jamestown; brother, Robert H. Helms of Lebanon; son-in-law, Kenneth Staton of Marion; five grandchildren, Kyle Staton, Christian (Kate) Staton, Josiah Staton, Grace Staton and Faith Staton, all of Marion; two great-grandchildren, Fae Staton and Easton Felton, both of Marion.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Lonnie Lee Boram; a daughter, Leyanna K. Staton; and a brother, Edward Lee Helms.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Oak Hill Cemetery, 935 E. Washington St., Lebanon.
