---- — Ms. Linda Lou Ottinger, 71, of New Goshen, formerly of Lebanon, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital in Terre Haute. Ms. Linda Lou Ottinger was born in Lebanon on Jan. 14, 1942, the daughter of the late Cleon Chester Sheets, Sr. and Helen Marie (Williams) Sheets. A longtime resident of Lebanon, Linda attended Lebanon High School.

In July 1958, she was married to Robert Leroy Baldwin. Together they had five sons. She was then married to Bruce S. Clevenger in November 1967 and they had four sons together. Her first two husbands preceded her in death. In 1993, she was married to Mike Ottinger; he survives.

Linda spent her years raising her sons and taking care of her home. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, traveling and frequenting flea markets.

She was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include her former husband, Mike “Otto” Ottinger of New Goshen,; six sons, Patrick Leroy Baldwin and wife, Melissa, of Lafayette, John David Baldwin and wife, Kimberly, of Indianapolis, Ronald D. Baldwin of Lebanon, Scott Clevenger of Lebanon, Roy E. Clevenger of Lebanon, and Mike W. Clevenger and wife, Stephanie of Lebanon; a daughter-in-law Rose M. Baldwin of Lebanon; 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and two husbands, Linda was preceded in death by three sons, Robert Rex Baldwin, Chester Eugene Baldwin and William A. Clevenger; a brother, Cleon Sheets, Jr.; and a nephew, Danny L. Sheets.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 13, at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon St., Lebanon, with Pastor Matt Skiles, officiating.

Visitation is planned for Monday, Jan. 13, from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home in Lebanon.

Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Romney, Indiana.
