Elizabeth Endicott

Mrs. Elizabeth Endicott, of Avon, formerly of Darlington, passed away Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Avon Manor Care, Avon.

Mrs. Endicott was born Aug. 9, 1916, in Clinton County, a daughter of the now late Herschel and Rosa (Parr) Beard. She graduated in 1934 from Jackson Township High School in Clinton County.

She married Ralph Endicott on Aug. 9, 1936, in Advance. Mr. Endicott passed away on Nov. 2, 1996.

Mrs. Endicott was a homemaker and helped her husband in his garage business for many years. For many years they spent the winter months in Florida.

Survivors include one son, Thomas (Rosemary) Endicott of Avon; three grandchildren, Lesia Sims of Indianapolis, Michael Endicott of Plainfield and Lori Cook of Danville; and two great-grandchildren, Jenna Endicott and Blake Cook.

Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home, 223 N. Meridian St., Lebanon. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ben Hitzfeld officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Montgomery County.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Darlington Christian Church, 200 E. Main St., Darlington, IN 47940.
