Homer Mickey Hunsinger

Mr. Homer Mickey Hunsinger, 67, of Lebanon, died Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon.

Homer Mickey Hunsinger was born on March 4, 1946, in Crawfordsville. He was the son of the now late Rev. Homer J. and Florence (Shrock) Hunsinger.

Reared and educated in Lebanon, Mickey was a 1964 graduate of Lebanon High School. He then obtained an associates of accounting degree from Indiana Business College in Indianapolis.

He married Rosalie Ann (Fisher) Hunsinger on July 21, 1968, in Lebanon. Mrs. Hunsinger survives.

Mickey worked for Shumate Business Forms in Lebanon from 1967 to 2003. Following his retirement there, he went to work for MI Windows in Lebanon and most recently was a driver for Boone County Senior Services.

Mickey was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. A known jokester, Mickey loved playing tricks on family and friends alike. He was also an avid sports enthusiast.

He was a member of First Community Church of Lebanon.

Survivors include wife Mrs. Rosalie A. Hunsinger of Lebanon; father-in-law Rev. Herma J. Fisher of Mooresville; three children, Mrs. Rani R. Lammers and husband Gerald of Avon; Mrs. Michele K. Stephan and husband Andy of Lebanon; and Mr. Michael Hunsinger of Lebanon; two sisters, Mrs. Loretta Haas of Lafayette; and Mrs. Janet Kemp and husband Marvin of Greentown; five grandchildren, Drew Crowe; Tawni Kincaid; Nicholas Lammers; Levi Stephan; and Luke Lammers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mickey was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Rosemary Fisher, and a brother-in-law, Junior Haas.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 N. Lebanon St., in Lebanon.

Memorial services will follow at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, at the funeral home.

Interment will be held at a later date.
