Dustin Ray Hinkle

Dustin Ray Hinkle, 30, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, April 2, 2013, in Indianapolis.

Dustin was born June 1, 1982, in Indianapolis. He was the son of Bill Ray Hinkle and Jenny Lynn Tyree. A lifelong resident of Boone County, Dustin graduated from Western Boone High School with the class of 2001.

A welder by trade, Dustin worked at Hendrickson Trailer Suspension Systems in Lebanon. Prior to that he worked at Wabash National in Lafayette.

He loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed coaching his son’s football and baseball teams. He was an avid football fan, and other his hobbies included working on and painting cars.

Survivors include his parents, Bill R. Hinkle and Jenny Lynn Tyree, both of Lebanon; grandparents, Greta Zeralsky and Bill Hinkle, both of Lebanon, Star Tyree of Colfax and Bev Tyree of Frankfort; children, Mason R. Hinkle and Mia M. Hinkle; sisters, Stacy Johnes, Jillian Cuminotti, Rease (Gilbert) DeLarosa and Lindsay Johnes Gagliola; brothers, Derek Johnes and Josh Johnes; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dustin was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Cleatus Tyree Sr.; his uncle, Cleatus “Chip” Tyree Jr.; a stepfather, Eric Johnes; and a cousin, Josh Anderson.

Visitation is 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Myers Chapel of Memories, with Roger Fogle officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery in Colfax.
